The Yankees ditched the Orioles in five games in the first round of the playoffs. The Tigers took care of the Oakland A’s in five games in their series. The Tigers knocked the Yankees out of the playoffs last year, so they are not intimidated at all heading into this series. Here is a look at the matchups in this series:
CATCHER: Righty swinging Russell Martin has random power and that is his main skill with the bat.
