The over/under for Yankees’ wins in 2012 is 93.5. The Yankees were 97-65 last year as they won the American League East and that was with a lot of question marks in the starting rotation. The Yankees fixed that problem by trading for Michael Pineda and signing Hiroki Kuroda. With that in mind, I would be placing a bet on the over when it comes to Yankees’ wins in 2012.

The over/under on New York Yankees wins in 2010 is 94.5

I think the Yankees are going to be good again in 2010, but I don’t like most of the moves they made over the winter. For instance, I think that Johnny Damon & Hideki Matsui will put up better numbers in 2010 than Curtis Granderson & Nick Johnson will. I also am not solid on Javier Vazquez pitching in the Bronx again as he was terrible in his first go around. Taking Phil Hughes out of the pen could come back to haunt the Yankees but Chamberlain will be much better working only 1 inning per night where he can let er’ rip. Still, I see the Yankees finishing in third place in the A.L. East and I would bet on the under as far as the wins are concerned.
