32-year old switch-hitting 1B Mark Teixeira was awesome in July for the Yankees. He played in 24 games in July for the Yankees in which he was 25 of 84 (.298 avg, 1.017 OPS) with 17 runs scored, 7 homers, 27 RBIs and 1 stolen base. Teixeira has now played in 100 games for the Yankees so far this year and he is 93 of 366 (.254 avg, .820 OPS) with 58 runs scored, 20 homers, 71 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. Look for Teixeira to keep rolling as he has always been better as a hitter in the second half in his time with the Yankees.
