The Mets have lost 24-year old righty reliever/starter Josh Stinson on waivers to the Milwaukee Brewers. Stinson pitched in 14 games (0 starts) for the Mets last year and he was 0-2 with 1 save, a 6.92 ERA and a 1.62 WHIP. He also pitched in 40 games (15 starts) in AA+AAA-ball last year and he was 7-10 with 6 saves, a 5.94 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. The Mets won’t miss Stinson too much going forward as he just didn’t look good at all in 2011.
